Commercial Negotiation

Negotiation and client relations

Solinest handles commercial relations with
distribution retailers on behalf of its brand partners.

In contact with distribution retailers

Every day, our teams handle the commercial development of the brands entrusted to us:

  • Client portfolio management (hyper and supermarkets, convenience stores and impulse channels),
  • Discussions with retailers' marketing, purchasing and logistics departments (reporting, sharing Solinest's category expertise, strategic recommendations),
  • Annual negotiations with national and regional central purchasing services (commercial agreements, pricing, terms and conditions of sale, etc.),
  • Tracking and optimisation of agreements made (product assortments, merchandising and promotion plans, etc.),
  • Client relations management on a daily basis,
  • In-store presence with a sales force of nearly 300 people..

A national sales force, maximum cover

Au service du développement des ventes, la force de vente Solinest s’emploie chaque jour à :

  • Developing product assortments in stores (maximising the number of different product references on sale),
  • Setting up recommended merchandising plans (maximising product visibility on the shelves),
  • Implementing scheduled promotional actions (getting the products known and developing sales volumes).

An operational force at work in stores every day, it's by insisting on regular visits and cultivating go-to contacts and sound relations with them, that the Solinest sales force takes our product references above and beyond national framework agreements negotiated with central purchasing. And a yet another plus point, the tracking conducted in stores is used to analyse the results, check on the objectives and adapt the actions established to actual needs.

Commitment and motivation that was justly rewarded in 2012 by the LSA Awards in the Sweet Grocery category.
