2009 - 2016
From check out to aisle: products to enjoy, in vogue and inspired by nature

2016

A new visual identity

Solinest is adopting a new logo and sending out a strong message to its partners and colleagues: Growing together

2015

Solinest strengthens its position in the snacking niche

[N.A!] takes its place on the salted snacks shelf with Rice Crackers. 

new partnership is forged with the Tyrrells brand, number one in the premium potato crisps segment.

Solinest takes its place on the produce shelf with Wonderful Premium Nuts brand products (pistachios, almonds…).

The firm now numbers 500 employees and achieves a turnover of almost 300 million euro.

2014

Solinest, blazing the trail on the water enhancers market

The OUIZ brand, the company's second private label brand, hits hyper and supermarkets.

2012

Solinest gains ground in the aisles in the room-temperature, UHT and refrigerated beverages category

Advent of new brand partners:

  • Fruiss syrups,
  • Fiji Watermineral water,
  • Vaïvaï coconut water,

2009

Bertrand Jacoberger creates the new brand, [N.A!] (Nature Addicts)

radical innovation at the check out which, with its range 100% inspired by nature, has revolutionised snacking.

Perfetti Van Melle: a new Gum & Confectionery partner

Solinest sells the emblematic brands Chupa ChupsMentosLook O LookFrisk and Fruit-tella.

2003

The Solinest supply chain is ISO 9001 certified

The 1990's

Solinest expands and exports its business model abroad

In 1996, Solinest Belgilux becomes a player in distribution in Belgium and Luxembourg.

In France, in the meantime, Solinest inaugurates its new logistics hub in Sausheim in 1997: nearly 14,000 m².

Solinest markets hot beverages

First with Tetley, the Number 1 English tea, and then with Van Houten chocolate beverages.

Solinest expands its confectionery range

Fisherman’s FriendWerther’s Original (Storck Group) and PEZ all choose Solinest to market their products in France.

The 1980s

The advent of chewing gum: Solinest becomes a major player on the check out market.

The firm markets Freedent chewing gums from the American concern, Wrigley.

Bertrand Jacoberger joins the booming family firm

The sales force now numbers 20 people for a turnover of 150 million francs.

1968

The advent of Private Label Brands

Solinest joins forces with the German industrial concern, Griesson, to market products under private label brands in France.

1968

Solinest has exclusive distribution rights for Ricola herb drops on the French market

Ricola had the products and the ambition to expand into France, Solinest the experience of the market and plans to grow. The meeting of two men undoubtedly took care of the rest: Hans-Peter Richterich (Ricola) and Jean Jacoberger (Solinest). This success story, based on a relationship of trust and closeness, has lasted nearly 50 years.

1964

The Company Lindt Est (Solinest) is founded

A chocolate maker from Zürich knocked on the door: Lindt chocolates would like to be sold on the French market.

In 1964, the partnership gives birth to the company "Solinest". It is the beginning of the marketing of Lindt chocolates in France.

1985

Jean Jacoberger joins Etablissements Tresch as Commercial Director

The company continues to develop and, until the 1960s, will be the largest distributor of confectionery products and biscuits (Belin) in the region

1931

Marcel Tresch founds Etablissements Tresch,
specialists in the wholesale confectionery trade
